Do you have a child or work with a child who has difficulty communicating their needs and emotions?
If so, join us for an evening to learn how to make a visual schedule for use at home, school, child care, etc.
Visual supports are often helpful for children who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other communication delays. These supports can help children express their needs, as well as to give order to daily routines in their lives.
The session will start with a quick overview of visual schedules. Participants will see many examples to help them learn different formats and uses. Time will be allotted during the workshop to make a practical visual schedule that can be used for a particular child or children.
